Worship Ministry
EFBC’s worship ministry seeks to offer opportunities for corporate worship and to resource believers for personal and family worship. There are several ways to become involved in the worship ministry, and not all of them require musical skills.
In the Preschool and Children’s Choirs, children learn about God through singing and the use of instruments and through musical activities and games. While the Preschool Choir is strictly a preparatory ensemble, the Children’s Choir participates in leading worship at various times throughout the year. Choir times are as follows:
Children’s Choir – Wednesdays, 5:45-6:30pm
Preschool Choir – Wednesdays, 7:00-7:30pm
The Sanctuary Choir sings during Sunday morning worship services and offers unique worship services during special seasons such as Christmas and Easter. The purpose of the choir is to lead worship and share Christ through music. Rehearsal is on Wednesdays from 7:40 until 9:00pm.
As demand and interest arise, we offer two handbell ensembles: Youth Handbell Ensemble (for grades 4 and up) and Adult Handbell Ensemble .
In order to make all of this happen, we have a team of dedicated individuals who neither sing nor play instruments. These worship ministry volunteers help with technical aspects such as sound and projection. If you’re not a singer or an instrumentalist, but feel called to serve God and the church in worship ministry, this is the place for you.
