Disaster Relief
South Carolina has its share of inclement weather. We’re always on the lookout for tornadoes or hurricanes. Disaster Relief teams of the Southern Baptist Convention form one of the largest relief agencies in the world, second only to the Red Cross. Edgefield First Baptist Church has teams trained in mud-out operations, tree removal, and construction. Teams are constantly on standby and are ready to travel at a moment’s notice to assist wherever they are needed, whether it is here in South Carolina, across the United States, or across the world.
