I just wanted to write and remind you all that we are still collecting for the Annie Armstrong Mission offering. If you have not had a chance to give, our offering will continue for the next couple of weeks. Here are some fact about where your money is going and how urgently it is needed!
The North American Missions Board’s (NAMB) mission field is the United States, Canada and the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam and American Samoa. This region contains diverse ethnic groups, languages and religions. Approximately 269 million people in North America do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Through your gifts to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® and the Cooperative Program, NAMB supports more than 5,000 missionaries and more than 3,800 chaplains who serve in difficult places where the gospel is often not welcome.
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering provides for 49% of NAMB’s annual budget. Therefore, this offering is vital if we want to see the Word go forth in North America.
Please prayerfully consider giving above and beyond your tithe. God loves and cheerful giver, and I want to see this church always give cheerfully to the spreading of the Gospel. Thank you for your generosity and help!
My sermon Thursday at 6:30pm during our Maundy Thursday service will come from Mark 14:12-21, and my sermon on Sunday will come from Mark 16:1–8. I hope to see you all there as we celebrate Easter!
